Delhi: The project was an expansion of an existing facility
at Noida for the manufacturing of cosmetic products such
as shampoos, creams, lipsticks, mascara, perfumes and
body sprays.
The following work was completed
successfully at Silver Oak Laboratories
Preparation of final equipment layouts,
air conditioning ducting layouts, piping layouts at
the beginning of the project to ensure the appealing
aesthetic appearance and to check the pragmatic hindrance
in the plant.
Preparation of the tenders (technically and commercially)
for
Installation
of Mixing station consisting of Melting vessel and Mixing
vessels of 500 Kgs each along with their interconnecting
piping and the utilities requires for mixing station
High
purity water system of less than 10 ms/cm, process water
and soft water for the complete facility using reverse
osmosis system with completely automated system using
PLC and MMI.
Steam
boiler of 600 & 200 kgs each and steam piping upto
the process area
Air cooled
type 60 TR Reciprocating compressor type chiller along
with primary and secondary pumps and piping.
Air conditioning
in the process area and weighing area of the plant approx.
to 25TR along with the aluminum cladding and boxed ducting
Installation
of SS 316 L piping in the process area with orbital welding
joints to preclude the microbiological growth in the purified
water system
Installation
of Hot water system of 2 m3/hr and Hot room of the capacity
of 6 drums to melt the wax at the rate of 30 min per drum
Installation
of compressed air services for the new mixing station.
Installation
of electrical systems for the entire setup.
IBI
CHEMATUR was responsible and had successfully completed
the detail engineering of mechanical, piping, electrical,
instrumentation and automation, erection, startup and
commissioning of the complete manufacturing facilities
and utilities. The project was managed completely under
the supervision of IBI CHEMATUR along with International
Project Management Consultants.
The
" Single Window " concept was effectively implemented
for this project since entire work including procurement,
Vendor identification, inspection, expediting, site supervision,
assistance in statutory approvals and project planning
/ management was assigned to us.
