A joint venture company with the participation from GNFC,
Chematur and IBI Group of Companies, had been set up at
Bharuch-Gujarat at the cost of Rs.350 Crores to produce
20,000 TPA Aniline and 10,000 TPA TDI. |
| The Aniline
plant and TDI plant were successfully completed and commissioned
in the year 1996-97. The complex is based on Du Pont's
technology licensed through M/s Chematur. It houses a
battery of plants like Nitrobenzene, Aniline, and Dinitrotoluene.
Toluene DI Amine, Phosgene, Carbon Monoxide, Chlorine
Handling and Absorption, Liquid Nitrogen, Toluene DI Isocyanate
and a flare. |
| The project
entails exotic material fabrication, special double tube
sheet construction for exchangers and lethal service piping
erection and construction. |
| The various
plants with their respective hazardous raw materials,
intermediates and products are controlled centrally by
the state of the art DCS system. The entire detail engineering
related to the production units and utilities of this
complex including fire hydrant system, fire alarm system,
distribution system for breathing air, cooling water,
instrument air, steam condensate, compressed air, drinking
water, etc and the effluent treatment system had been
undertaken by us and completed successfully. |
| The
" Single Window " concept was effectively implemented
for this project since entire work including procurement,
Vendor identification, inspection, expediting, site supervision,
assistance in statutory approvals and project planning
/ management was assigned to us. |
